Idaho Governor Visits Potandon Produce Before Idaho Trade Mission

Idaho Governor Brad Little and his staff visit a Potandon Produce facility before the Governor's Trade Mission in November

On Thursday, September 19th Idaho Governor Brad Little met with some of our leadership in preparation for the Idaho Governor’s Trade Mission to Taiwan and Japan in early November. This year, New Business Development Manager Nancy Bryner will join for the Taiwan portion of the trip.

Senior VP/GM of the Russet and Onion Division Dick Thomas and Nancy led Governor Little and his team through facilities at the Idaho Mini Plant and Driscoll Potatoes, one of our close partners. Conversations revolved around how the Governor can help Idaho companies grow business in Taiwan and Japan. They also discussed the recent opening of Mexico to Idaho potato imports and its impact on the state’s economy.

The Idaho Governor’s Trade Mission will take place November 4-8, 2024. This is a unique opportunity for Potandon Produce to grow the Green Giant™ Fresh brand outside into new markets. In addition, we are proud to represent the state of Idaho on the trade mission. Taiwan and Japan are Idaho’s 2nd and 5th largest export markets, respectively.

We are excited for Nancy to represent Potandon Produce and Green Giant™ Fresh on the Idaho Governor’s Trade Mission!
